YOGA
Yoga is basically a mind and body discipline whose goal is higher spiritual attainment. However, today Yoga is practiced with a view of health benefits we can derive from it. Yet a little bit of philosophical knowledge of this system becomes necessary because it talks in terms of subtle phenomenon happening inside us, subtle energies, subtle bodies that lie inside our gross physical bodies.0
To know why Yoga is practiced we have to understand that there is a tendency or an innate desire in human beings, which is the desire to acquire, to acquire anything and everything that they do not possess or think that is less and it should be more in particular. For example, knowledge, the perfect health, lots of wealth, prosperity, fame, all the materials of this world and another, power to do whatever he wishes, an intelligent and powerful mind, rich experiences of anything that exist, to be very lovable and being loved etc. Or, in other words there is the desire to have an absolutely perfect life (whatever may the individual’s view of absoluteness be).

ADVAIT YOGA
The name Advait Yoga is taken from our two ancient and unparalleled school of philosophy. ADVAIT VEDANTA and YOGA. Both leading to the same goal. While Advait Vedanta is an intellectual inquiry into the nature of the ultimate reality behind this universe, Yoga provides a practical way to its realization. Advait here means non dual.
Advait Yoga is dedicated to facilitate the conscious or unconscious endeavour of human beings towards happiness, towards freedom, towards satisfaction and completeness, towards realisation of the unity, oneness with the universe.
At Advait Yoga, classes are designed to offer the student the relevant esoteric information and techniques to achieve the designated goals. Combination of the awareness of the most beneficial postures and stretching, breathing practices, relaxation with awareness and meditation purifies the subtle bodies that lie within and clears up the blocked energy channels. This allows an uninterrupted and uniform flow of energy in the body which leads to a good physical tone, mental alertness, increased immunity and elevated spirits. It eventually allows you to reconnect with your real self, as well as help you to regain balance and harmony in your life.
